Happy Birthday Lori Jumonville Guidry

You have poured out so many Good things into my life
You did not always serve it
With
Elegance and Grace

But instead
With
Boldness, Truth, and Strength

 I would never want
What I received on that plate
Replaced

Because of you
I have lots of Beautiful
Flowers in my Pot

And
My cup
Runs over

To share
With others

I am
Who I am
Because
You were a Mentor
In my Life

You shared
True Love with me

Through your Boldness, Truth and Strength
I received God's Love
Through you

I thank God
I did not have to live without knowing You
I Learned Many Life Lessons

Today
I Celebrate
This Special Birthday with you
And
 Wish you the Best

As you continue
To Pour Out
Your Life
Into others

That they would
Receive
The Love, Elegance, and Grace
You Truly are

You
Are A Blessing
I am glad
I did not have to live without

That
My dear Sister friend
Is what real Mentoring
Is All About!

I Love you!
&
Miss You
Happy Birthday!

Intertwined

Oh how this life of mine
Is so intertwined
With my word and my rhymes

I love the things I’ve said
The words so trapped within my head

That at times
I get up out of bed

The moment I write them down
I began to hear the sound

Of it forming in my mind
That’s when my world is Intertwined

With its rhythms and its rhymes
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Oh how this life of mine
Is intertwined
At times

The words get trapped within my head
As I am laying in my bed
Speaking softly in my mind
With its rhythms and its rhymes
That’s when my world is Intertwined

As It’s forming in my head
I get myself up out of bed
Speedily I write them down
Hearing how the words do sound

Oh How I love the things I’ve heard it say
I wouldn’t have it any Other way

Note: One of my favorite scriptures
.. A tree Intertwined ..
Revelations 22:2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yeilding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
